Citizens Monitoring and Audit of PMGSY Roads: Phase 2

PAC had been asked by the National Rural Roads Development Authority to conduct a monitoring and evaluative study of the implementation of its landmark scheme, the Pradhan Mantri's Gram Sadak Yojana using its innovative citizen-friendly road construction monitoring tool developed in conjunction with RASTA Institute for Road Technology. Sample areas were chosen in rural Karnataka and Orissa for Phase 2 of this study. The report gives the findings.
