During Dec 4-5, Kala Sridhar, Head of PAC’s Public Policy Research Group, participated in a symposium on child poverty research organized by Center for Poverty Analysis (CEPA), during which children from some remote villages of Sri Lankan provinces made a presentation on their development scenarios following which a documentary was shown on the ethnic conflict and the impact of this on child poverty and education. The symposium ended with discussions on future directions for child poverty research for researchers, practitioners and policymakers.
